No, not necessarily. Because of the very high-quality silicone and when using oil and fatty doughs, the baking cups grease themselves. If the baking cups do get a little dry due to use in the dishwasher or when using a lot of dry doughs (yeast dough, bread dough, etc.), then oil the baking cups with a kitchen towel and a little cooking oil and put them back in the cupboard. The next time you use them, they will be as good as new.

No. With batter, it is only important that the batter is first baked for 5 minutes and then the CUCAP baking cups are lightly pressed in. Then simply bake the batter for the remaining time.

If the batter is not baked briefly beforehand, the CUCAP baking cups will sink to the bottom and then tip over. That is why the baking time of around 5 minutes is very important.

When used with the centering aid, the CUCAP baking cups can be prepared directly in the centering aid. Then put the dough into the muffin tin and place the centering aid on the muffin tin. Then bake the dough for the normal baking time (usually at 180°C for around 23 minutes).
